Cut: very roughly cut, with minimal addition of powder particles.

Taste: deep and distinctive, long-lasting with notes of hay and wood.
Recommended: as tereré (with cold water).
If you drink yerba mate with cold water, keep in mind that the cold water may not be enough to extract all of the active ingredients from the leaves. This can result in the drink being less flavorful and having a milder effect than yerba mate made with hot water.
