Classic yerba mate con palo and sin palo (despalada) - yerba mate without ingredients, pure.
Yerba mate with the addition of herbs (hierbas) or with flavor (saborizada). Very suitable for tereré (pour cold water over it).
Roasted yerba mate, tostada or quemada in Spanish, is a specialty type of yerba mate. It is roasted or burned, whereby it takes on a brown color. When pouring over it, it can withstand hotter water (90-95°).
The taste is also different: like coffee, dark chocolate or cocoa.
An ideal companion to desserts.
You can add sweetener and/or coffee cream or milk (for milk/cream do not use natural products such as decorative pumpkin, but use glass or ceramic).
