Palo Santo

Mate cup made of wood bulnesia salmientoi, which is considered sacred and healing in South America by the indigenous people of Paraguay.

This wood forms the resin, which is highly sought after because it enhances the yerba flavor by giving it a light lemony-woody touch. Under no circumstances scrape off the resin!

The Palo Santo cup also smells specific and characteristic of this wood with resin. The resin is the guarantee of the authenticity of this mate cup.

Due to the changing air humidity and wood moisture when drinking and drying, small cracks can occur in the wood.

The care: after drinking, throw away the used yerba mate, rinse under running water and pat dry with kitchen paper. Stand with the opening facing up. Do not place it on the radiator!

Store in a place with good air circulation (not in a cupboard, closed place or similar), otherwise mold may form.

Water that is too hot can help stop resin formation.

Height: around 11 cm

Recommended bombilla: 17-21 cm.

It fits very comfortably in the hand.

All Palo Santo were examined by us for quality and found to be good.

Before first use, rinse the inside with lukewarm water without (!) detergent.
