Date of expiry

We do not sell yerba mate with expired date. We adhere to this legal obligation.

About 3 months before the expiration date it is offered at a special price.

Abbreviations on the packaging:

env. = Envasada = fecha de elab. = packed

VENC. = Vencimiento to consume

Some producers give only the packaged date, the others only by the expiration date, and some even both data.

Normally yerba mate is stamped with a 2-year expiration date from producer. It is required by law. However, this date prevents the destruction is not when it is time somewhere or stored poorly penetrates some water through the slots in the packaging. She is spoiled before the expiration date.

If it is then stored properly and protected from moisture, it can be drunk well above the date of expiry addition, only they could lose some of the flavor. Finally, it's a dried herb.

Recently AMANDA started with 4-year-old date stamp. It would mean that up to 4 years Yerba Mate is still good for consumption.
